Technical assistance to the Department of Health Office of the Health Laboratories to strengthen their capacity to assess and strengthen the Philippines public health laboratory system and facilities. The assistance consisted of the development and provision of two training sessions on the use of the WHO System and Facility Laboratory Assessment Tools (LATs), the improvement and tailoring of the WHO LATs to the Philippines situation and terminology, and assistance with completion and analysis of the WHO System LAT, including suggestions for OHL activities.
